At first it was unclear how the outcome of the coaching experience would materialize. Nonetheless, with the passage of time, I came to realize that with each coaching session with Charly, I would discover a nugget of knowledge or a thought, that while always at the tip of my mind or crystal clear after talking about it, had not previously materialized. My work with Charly Borenstein-Regueira was a turning point in my life. Together we clearly identified obstacles on my path to happiness and constructed strategies for overcoming them. By doing so, I was able to focus clearly on the things I hold most dear in my life. Even though I had already accomplished much on my own, having Charly as my life coach increased my motivation, which led to even greater success. Not only was Charly my personal Life Coach, but also my instructor for my life coaching certification. Whereas, I am not a practicing Life Coach, I have used the principles and concepts of life coaching that I have learned from Charly to better interact with my business associates and clients. Working with Charly provided me the opportunity to develop and grow in many areas of my life. It helped me not only to define achievable goals, but gave me the tools to reach them. Charly’s supportive and honest feedback allowed me to gain insights into my own strengths and the wisdom to let go off what was holding me back. Over the last four years, Charly Regueira has become an important part of my life contributing to my growth and success as a person and as a coach. She was a phenomenal, inspiring teacher during my life coaching certification bringing her insight, knowledge, and energy to the process. As a coach she listens, discerns what’s important and quides me toward my desired goals holding me accountable for their achievement. She is an invaluable asset in my coaching practice as well. We have worked on projects together and she brings commitment and value to each and everyone. She will prove herself to be a tremendous asset to any individual or business that she works with. After working for nearly 13 years as an accountant, I became disillusioned and burned out. Long-term family issues had also taken their toll on me. I needed a change but did not know where to begin. Charly began by introducing me to myself. Making important life decisions begins with knowing who you are and what your interests, talents and resources are. Through coaching I was able to see that my identity had grown beyond the small world to which I had consigned myself. This enabled me to look beyond cookie-cutter solutions to creative solutions that led to returning to graduate school to study pastoral counseling.
